When you’re cold and it’s rainy and misty and yucky outside, drink hot tea. Tea has many benefits and blends that include “warming” spices like cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, etc are especially beneficial this time of year. I substitute my afternoon coffee with hot tea when I’m feeling like I need a real recharge. My favorite is Trader Joe’s Winter Wake Up Tea. It is a black tea with cinnamon and ginger and is delicious without any sweetener. It also has just enough caffeine to make me feel alive without giving me the jitters. Afternoon tea should be a daily ritual. I love it!
