After a great night sleep and with the help of some cold medicine I felt better for most of the day. My ankle was better too. Today’s advice is the one you don’t want to hear. Exercise beats the blues. Winter or otherwise. In particular, I’ve read working out your legs strengthens your foundation and will help you stand against the cold. Movement in general will keep you from growing stiff. I have found a yoga routine specifically for winter blues. We will talk more about it tomorrow. Today’s advice: get moving! I started the day with stretching and squats. And did multiple random leg exercises throughout the day. The cold stiffness never got to me today and the high was only 26 “feels like 18”.
