Once again, I’m in full restaurant opening mode. I just checked into the hotel and will be here for the majority of the next 6 -8 weeks. Until construction is complete I’m spending my days in a cold, damp, dark, sawdusty, construction overflow room of an old warehouse. It’s awesome. If I didn’t have to use my hands, I could keep them warm, but no such luck. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it’s a short drive and I have a feeling I’m going to sleep well. I’m tired, my allergies are flaring up like crazy, I miss my husband, and I miss my dog. Abominable Winter Blues, I see you trying to back me in a corner here and I’m not falling for it! The great news is that the sun is supposed to come out tomorrow and right now I’m doing interviews every half hour all day. Interviewing is one of my favorite job activities and I love it so it brightens my life. Of course nothing really brightens my life more than my husband.
